Ka Trinité

Working the hair

The first highlight is made with a mixture of yellow ochre and red ochre (50 / 50). Apply this mixture floating or brushing, according to the drawing of the locks. The area of locks to be highlighted goes almost until the outer edge of the head.

Add to the previous mixture a little bit of yellow ochre and brush the second highlight. Divide each lock, that results from the first layer, into two lines and reduce the areas with high density of pigments.

The third highlight is more restricted than the previous ones and limits itself to some of the locks at the centre of the head and the buckles near the forehead. Give volume and movement to the hair highlighting only a small part of each lock. Add some more yellow ochre to the mixture.

When the paint is dry, put some emulsion / water over the entire surface of the hair. Retrace the dark lines separating the locks.

The sandals

The colour for the sandals is burnt umber. Apply it with an opaque puddle.
